The Joker Never Retires slot puts a lot of moving parts on a 5x4 grid with 20 lines, and they all connect. A win cascades, the cascade steps the Daily Dose track, the track hands out boosts, the boosts fill the grid with Wilds, and a global multiplier sits underneath the whole sequence getting bigger. This page takes every piece apart in the order you meet it.

The global multiplier#

It starts at 1x and climbs while the cascades fall. The scale is published in full: 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 30x, 50x, 75x and 100x. It applies to every win on the screen rather than to a chosen line, and in the base game it resets when the next spin begins.

That reset is the whole reason cascades matter here. A spin that pays once and stops leaves the multiplier near the bottom of the scale; a spin that keeps clearing and refilling walks it upward, and every subsequent win in the same spin is worth more than the last. It is why a modest three-card combination is worth watching: at 0.2x a card line is small change, and at a multiplier of 30x the same line is a 6x round.

Inside a bonus round the behaviour changes in your favour. The multiplier is progressive and holds its value to the last free spin instead of resetting, so an early climb pays for the entire round. The RTP page shows how those mechanics keep the base game and all four feature sheets inside the same band.

Daily Dose and Extra Dose#

The Daily Dose is the strip of boost events across the top of the grid, and the game draws a fresh one at the start of every spin: boosts with empty spots between them. Each cascade unlocks exactly one step. In the base game, two empty spots sit between boosts and the array opens with two of them, so the first upgrade has to be earned by a paying spin that keeps cascading.

The headline boost is Wilds, which adds between 2 and 10 Wild symbols to the grid at once. The gap between those two numbers is the whole story: two Wilds nudge a near miss into a paying line, while ten of them occupy half of a twenty-position grid and rewrite every line running through them. Wilds substitute for every paying symbol, so a boost at the top of that range resolves into another cascade, which opens the next step on the track.

Then there is the Extra Dose symbol, the single piece that can turn a flat spin into a paying one on its own. It lands in the base game and in both bonus rounds, and when it does it opens 2 to 5 boost events immediately before the win is calculated, ignoring the empty spots on the track altogether. Only one can sit on the grid at a time, and once it has done its work it turns into a random paying symbol other than the Wild, so it contributes to the win it just built. One Extra Dose can rewrite a spin that looked finished. The how to play page shows where the track sits on screen.

Wild and FS Scatter#

The Wild substitutes for every paytable symbol, lands in the base game and inside both bonuses, and arrives in batches whenever the Wilds boost fires. New Wilds leave FS Scatters and existing Wilds exactly where they are, which is a small rule with a large consequence: a Wilds boost can never cost you a Scatter that was about to trigger a round.

The joker also pays on its own account. Five Wilds pay 15x the total bet, which matches the jack-in-the-box at the top of the paytable. The FS Scatter is the disco ball, it lands in the base game only, and three or four of them decide which of the two rounds you play. Keeping the Scatter out of the bonus keeps the two rounds clean: what you trigger is what you get, at the length it was sold to you.

Healthy Habits: 3 Scatters, 8 free spins#

Three disco balls move the game to the padded cell for eight free spins. Two things change from the base game. The global multiplier becomes progressive and runs to the end of the round, and the Daily Dose track tightens to one empty spot between boosts instead of two: a boost every second step of the track rather than every third. There is also an Extra Spins boost on the track worth 1, 2 or 3 additional free spins, which can extend a round that has just started climbing.

Eight spins on a denser track is a different proposition from eight spins of the base game. The multiplier that was resetting every spin now accumulates, and the boosts that were two gaps apart are one gap apart. Trigger it organically and it costs you nothing; buy it and it costs 100x your stake, which is €200.00 at the €2.00 default and €10.00 at the €0.10 bottom step.

The padded cell during a bonus round with the global multiplier on 6x and nine free spins left
Miracle Meds in motion: ten spins, a track with no gaps and the multiplier already on 6x.

Miracle Meds: 4 Scatters, 10 free spins#

The fourth Scatter clears every gap from the track. That is the actual difference, and it is worth more than the two extra spins that come with it. Miracle Meds runs ten free spins with a progressive global multiplier and a Daily Dose array with no empty spots at all, so every single cascade unlocks a boost. The same Extra Spins boost worth 1, 2 or 3 spins sits on that track too, and the Extra Dose symbol still lands inside the round.

Put the two rounds beside each other and the escalation curve is obvious. In Healthy Habits, two cascades buy you one boost. In Miracle Meds, two cascades buy you two. With a multiplier that never resets during the round, that difference compounds across ten spins rather than adding up across them. This is the richest configuration the game offers, and the one to watch first in the free demo before you pay 250x for it: €500.00 at the €2.00 default stake, €25.00 at €0.10.

The four buys and what they deliver#

Instant Kick FeatureSpins50x the stakeAt least one Extra Dose symbol, so at least two boosts open€100.00
Healthy Habits100x the stakeThe 8-spin round, progressive multiplier, one gap between boosts€200.00
Miracle Meds250x the stakeThe 10-spin round on a track with no gaps at all€500.00

Those four prices do not buy four versions of the same thing. The first two are FeatureSpins: you keep playing your own spins, with the odds or the boosts tilted. The last two are rounds, bought outright. BonusHunt at 3x is the only one cheap enough to run repeatedly on a small balance, thirty cents at the €0.10 step, while Instant Kick at 50x guarantees the Extra Dose symbol rather than a round.

A buy price may also exceed the €75.00 stake cap, which is exactly why the expensive doors stay open from the middle of the ladder rather than only from the top of it. The menu itself appears wherever market conditions allow it, so the buttons you see in one lobby may differ from another. The strategy page turns these four prices into a session budget.

The symbols that pay#

Twelve symbols in total: five card ranks, five picture symbols, the Wild and the FS Scatter. Every value below is a multiple of the total stake.

At the €2.00 default stake, a full line of jack-in-the-boxes pays €30.00, four of them €15.00 and three €4.00. The same three-symbol win on a card is €0.40. Read the bottom two rows rather than the top one and you learn more about the game: the small values arriving at a 29.41% hit rate are what feed the cascade chain, and it is the multiplier underneath them, not the symbol above them, that decides what a round is worth.

How the pieces combine in one spin#

Separately the mechanics are simple. The interest is in the sequence, so here is one base-game spin told in order, using only the published behaviour.

A spin begins and the Daily Dose track is drawn: boost events with two empty spots between them and two at the start. The reels land a three-symbol jack-in-the-box line, worth 2x the stake, €4.00 at a €2.00 stake, with the global multiplier still on 1x. Those symbols clear, new ones drop, and the track moves one step onto its first empty spot.

The refill pays again, this time a four-symbol line of slippers at 3x. The multiplier has stepped up, so the win is worth more than the table value alone; the track moves onto its second empty spot. The third cascade reaches the first boost, and if that boost is Wilds, between 2 and 10 Wild symbols land at once. On a 5x4 grid with twenty lines, a boost at the top of that range covers half the positions on screen, and what follows is another win, another cascade and another step on the track.

Now add the Extra Dose symbol to the same spin. It lands, opens 2 to 5 boosts immediately, skips the empty spots entirely and then becomes a paying symbol itself, joining the combination it just helped create. A spin that would have finished at 2x has walked its way up the multiplier scale and opened a run of boosts it had not earned.

That is the game’s whole argument in one round, and it is why the base game holds attention at a 29.41% hit rate rather than just ticking over. The how to play page shows where each of these elements sits on screen, and the strategy page puts a budget around them.

One structural note before the closing figure: the FS Scatter lands only in the base game, so neither bonus round can retrigger itself. What extends a round instead is the Extra Spins boost on the Daily Dose track, worth 1, 2 or 3 free spins, which keeps the length of a purchased round close to the price you paid for it.

One rule about the multiplier worth knowing before you buy#

The global multiplier of the spin that triggers a bonus does not travel into the round with it. Whatever the cascades had walked it up to, whether 15x, 30x or 100x, stays in the base game, and the bonus starts its own progressive climb from the bottom of the scale. That is why a triggering spin and a purchased round are worth the same to the multiplier: neither carries anything in.

It also explains the shape of the two rounds. Healthy Habits has eight spins and one empty spot between boosts to climb from 1x; Miracle Meds has ten spins and no empty spots at all. The extra two spins matter less than the extra steps: on a gapless track every cascade is an upgrade, and the climb starts at the same place in both.

Where all the upside lives#

All the upside of this slot lives in the 12,000x ceiling, and it is reachable in every mode: base spins, either bonus round, either FeatureSpins purchase. The road there is built from the pieces on this page: a multiplier that reaches 100x, a track that stops idling in Miracle Meds, and an Extra Dose symbol that opens five boosts in one move. At €2.00 that ceiling is €24,000, and at the €75.00 maximum stake it is €900,000. The hub page links the rest of the slot, and the how to play page puts every control on screen.

18+. Bonus buys speed up the game, never the outcome. Pick your budget before you open the menu and read the responsible gambling page .
